    Robert Seevers's review

Wide-footed climbers rejoice! These fit great and have held up to all the abuse I can throw at them. They climb okay, not as well as some other approach shoes I have worn, but in general do well enough on moderate scrambles.

Amazing, comfortable, incredibly durable, and climbs well. A great approach shoe for every day use, or for more technical alpine approaches.

Woody Jacobson, AMGA Certified Rock Guide

All of the approach shoes in Sportiva's TX line are excellent. These TX4s are on the heavier side but are super durable and comfortable to hike in. The sticky rubber on these shoes is clutch for rocky approaches and descents.
