    Robert Seevers's review

I've been using the Instinct VSR for the past few years. This is my primary outdoor bouldering and sport-climbing shoe, though I do use it indoors as well. It has a wide toe box that fits my feet well and offers the right mix of power, support, and sensitivity for my hardest climbing. It also excels at both toe and heel hooking. I downsized a size and a half from my street shoe for a performant, yet comfortable fit.

This is a great shoe to sport climb in (IMO), but realistically you can use whichever shoe you climb in the gym in.... knowing that you should take climbing shoes off in between routes (especially outdoors) because wear and tear on the shoe will be more than indoors.
