Next Best Run, Kim Conley & Drew Wartenburg

LMNT is our favorite way to hyper hydrate before long runs and races or rehydrate after hard summer sessions. They're loaded with sodium and other eletrolytes and have a variety of great flavors. In the winter, chocolate salt with hot water is Kim's go-to hot chocolate rehydration beverage.

I use LMNT every morning before running, and it’s my sodium source for long runs and races. It’s easy to use and easy to plan out fueling strategies with.

I typically use these for recovery rather than during training, but I drink these daily post-run

    mallory courtney, Ultra Runner

LMNT has become one of my go-to electrolytes for long-distance running and ultra racing. I used it throughout my 100-mile race to help me stay on top of my hydration and electrolytes while spending nearly 30 hours on my feet. Between ultra training, long runs, and racing in the Florida heat, hydration is a huge part of keeping me moving, and LMNT has become a staple in my race-day and long-distance fueling strategy.

Because Carbo-Fuel is carbs only, you'll have to add electrolytes. I use LMNT Unflavored because it's easier on the gut than the flavored ones, doesn't taste as "salty" as you would think, and comes in very small packets that are easy to carry.

My favorite flavors are grapefruit, lemonade, black cherry, chili mango, and chocolate (hot!). The citrus is actually really nice, too. I use these fairly religiously while training higher volume.
