Mark is the accomplished Owner and Founder of Excel Fitness Center. His professional expertise is built on a strong academic foundation, holding a DPT degree from Temple University, an MPT from the University of Saint Augustine, and a B.S. in Biology from TCNJ, following his graduation from Blair Academy. ​Mark channels his deep knowledge and competitive spirit into both his business and his extraordinary athletic pursuits. An elite endurance athlete, he boasts a marathon personal record of 2:50:09 and has completed eighteen marathons in total. His ultrarunning résumé includes finishing seven different 100-mile races—such as Leadville and Antelope Canyon 100—with a 100-mile PR of 19:27:53 at Rocky Racoon. Mark has also conquered Jesse Itzler's grueling Hell on the Hill race nine times, along with numerous Spartan races and the challenging 29029 Everesting. ​When not training or at the center, Mark, a dedicated husband and father of two, enjoys spending time with friends and family hiking national parks and tackling demanding routes like the Presidential Traverse. Over the past decade, Mark and his wife have successfully raised over $550,000 for the Semper Fi Fund.
