Products in this list
- G-Summit by La Sportiva
- Aero by Blue Ice — Best ice screw on the market in my opinion. Lighter than the Petzl ultralight screws!
- Petzl Nomic Ice Tool by Petzl — Best all around tool for my hands. I use it these for almost everything. No head weights for me though!
- G20 Plus by Grivel — I prefer monos over duals I feel like it reduces the calf pump for me.
- Aero Lite by Blue Ice — I use a 19 or 22cm for glacier travel. Lightest screw per cm on the market.
- Ice Screw Cannon by High Mountain Gear — The only ice screw storage and transport that is worth purchasing in my opinion. It just makes sense!
- 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope 60m by Mammut
- Women's Capilene® Thermal Weight Bottoms by Patagonia — These are way stretchier than the midweight bottoms, allow for better freedom of movement, and for most days my legs run cold so I appreciate these.
- Women's R1® Thermal Bottoms by Patagonia — Wearing a mid layer on my legs was an absolute GAME-CHANGER for my warmth and comfort while ice and mixed climbing.
- Eisfeld Guide SO Pants Women by Mammut — These softshell pants keep me dry in all but the wettest of conditions
- DAS® Light Pants by Patagonia — Like a wearable sleeping bag, comes on most adventures with me!
- Patagonia Women's Capilene Midweight Zip-Neck Base Layer Top by Patagonia
- Women's R1® Fleece Pullover Hoody by Patagonia
- Women's Micro Puff® Jacket by Patagonia
- Women's DAS® Parka by Patagonia — Like a wearable sleeping bag, comes on most adventures with me!
- Women's Fineline Stretch Shell by Black Diamond — Good compromise and super lightweight. Slight hardshell protection with softshell movement.
- Vapor Helmet by Black Diamond
- Black Diamond Speed 30 Pack by Black Diamond — Has a brain, rope carry, ice tool & crampon attachment, is light, and actually fits my small frame
- Camp Gecko Pulse Gloves by Camp
- Sm'D Carabiner by Petzl — I like the red safety indicator and these tend to freeze up for me a lot less than other carabiners. Great for racking traxion & tibloc.
- Multihook by Petzl
- REI Co-op Flash 18 Pack Black by REI Co-op — Perfect size for carrying my belay puffy, extra gloves, headlamp, food & water while ice climbing. I cut out all extra straps and features and it is the lightest/most packable/affordable pack for carrying inside a larger approach pack for days where I’m leaving a pack at the base of a climb.
- Giga Jul by Edelrid — Awesome assisted breaking device that you can use in regular ATC mode for top belaying and rappelling. Can be used with double or single ropes too.
- Black Diamond Ice Clipper Black by Black Diamond
- C.A.M.P. Rocket XS Ice Screw 5 cm by Camp — Ultra super stubby for mental pro on thin ice pitches. You probably don’t need these
- HMPE Cord Sling 6mm by Edelrid — I use the 120cm as my rappel tether and anchor material and the 40cm as my prusik loop.
- Spinner Leash by Black Diamond — I attach it to my harness with another small locker so I can easily take it off at belays.
- Plume HMS K3GH by Grivel — Lightest HMS/round stock locker out there. Reduces friction while hauling or belaying. The twin gate doesn’t rattle open and doesn’t freeze shut.
- C.A.M.P. Nano 22 Wiregate Carabiner Purple by Camp — The lightest carabiners that I can actually operate with gloves on. I use these for racking to save some weight. They are small, but I feel like they are the least funky micro carabiners to clip.
- Helium 3.0 Quickdraw by Wild Country — I love these carabiners for using with gloves and like the 15 cm length for minimizing rope drag.
- Helium 3.0 Carabiner by Wild Country — Easiest carabiners to clip with gloves on.
- Mission Light Sling by Blue Ice — These slings are round shaped and easiest to untie
- Hydration Sport Drink Mix - 20-Serving Bag by Skratch Labs — This in the hot apple cider flavor hot in a hot flask is the only thing that I’ll drink to stay hydrated.
- Hydro Flask Lightweight Wide-Mouth Vacuum Water Bottle - 32 fl. oz. Pink by Hydro Flask — Lots of folks like the bottles with the cup attached but I like how lightweight this is.
- Barryvox S by Mammut
- ARVA RACE SHOVEL by Arva
- RACE 240 PROBE by Arva
- Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 by Fenix — Very bright, uses 18650 batteries, excellent battery life, rechargeable, love the “boa” dial fit headband
