Sage ESN Reel by Sage — I have two of these- I think they are the ‘gold standard’ when it comes to a specific euro nymphing reel. The closed frame prevents slippage of thin leaders, micro adjustments for precise drag and the ability to adjust weight for balance makes it a perfect choice.
Thomas & Thomas Contact II // Euro Nymph Rods by Thomas & Thomas — My absolute “Go to” nymphing rod. I’ve been using the 1093 for several years and it is phenomenal for all techniques in the euro nymphing game.
