Expert“The Redington Field Kits are one of the best “ready-to-fish” setups out there, especially if you want quality gear without piecing everything together yourself. Each kit includes a matched rod, reel, backing, and—most importantly—a high-quality RIO fly line, which is a huge deal and not something you always get in combo kits. These are built around a medium-fast action rod that’s easy to cast for beginners but still performs well as you improve, and each kit is dialed in for specific species like trout, bass, or saltwater. Everything comes pre-rigged and ready to go, so the only things missing are a fly, some water, and a fish at the end of your line.”
