Each kit includes a matched rod, reel, backing, and—most importantly—a high-quality RIO fly line, which is a huge deal and not something you always get in combo kits. These are built around a medium-fast action rod that’s easy to cast for beginners but still performs well as you improve, and each kit is dialed in for specific species like trout, bass, or saltwater.
