C.A.M.P. Nano 22 Wiregate Carabiner Purple
“One of the lightest functional carabiners on market. I use these carabiners to rig crevasse rescue systems and to store cordage, gloves and ski crampons while on the move.”

C.A.M.P. Geko Ice Pro Gloves
“These are hands down my favorite gloves for technical winter activities They are the perfect balance between insulation and dexterity. I find the sizing to run normal. I wear XL in most gloves and these XL's fit perfect on me. I put these on at tree line. They provide the warmth but still have the dexterity to be able to do all the things I need to do along the way.”

CASSIN X-DREAM - Ice axe
“I've used these tools for 5+ years now, and put them to the test on everything from moderate ice, hard mixed, larger alpine routes, and pure dry routes. They have a stellar swing, and the weight feels perfectly balanced in my hands. I prefer to use the "Alpine" version of the tool with the bottom pommel for plunging. I normally run the tools with "Ice" picks with head weights for hard ice, or "Mixed" picks without headweights for mixed terrain or alpine ice.”

C.A.M.P. X-Dream Ice Tool
“Still my favorite ice tool. Great for technical ice/mixed routes and very modular to fit lots of different climbs. If you can only get one pair, get these! (Including other options depending on objective)”

C.A.M.P. Tricam EVO - Set of 4
“Some people love tricams, some hate them--personally, I love them! Can be used as either passive or active protection and can be very useful in the right situation. I recommend carrying a set of these while trad climbing to compliment your cams and nuts.”
John Willard

C.A.M.P. Blade Runner Crampons Orange 2
“Buy these! I've gone through about 4 pairs now and these are my go-to for steep ice and mixed terrain alike. These are heavier than the Petzl pons but these perform wayyyy better in my opinion. Try these and you'll see why they're a staple in my ice collection!”

C.A.M.P. Rocket Plus Ice Screw 13 Cm
“Ok, there are a lot of good screws out there these days. I still prefer these currently for a few reasons: 1. Because of the integrated draw, these are lighter than many aluminum screws + a draw 2. They have two clipping points which allow for quick in-series anchors to be made 3. They are full steel tubes which don't lock up in wet ice like most aluminum tubes do 4. They are really easy to get started and drive in because of the fixed crank arm 13cm is perfect for most of your rack (just make sure to dig down to good ice if the outer layers have gone bad - which is a better plan than trying to drill past the bad layer with a long screw).”

G Comp Warm
“I own an embarrasing number of pairs of gloves, but these are a pair that I have 2 pairs of as my go-to for a race on the colder side. The overmitts are great, while the base glove maintains really good dexterity.”
