One of the best versatile ice axes on the market. I love taking a lightweight axe that can handle easy to tough conditions when you are not sure if snow conditions will change from soft to firm. It can do all jobs up until you need actual ice tools. High level of comfort with this axe and mine has worked for over 20 years without need for replacement.
