Gear List - Adam Gloyeske

This is the gear that I use to train and race in on a regular basis. Consistent, reliable, durable, etc…all these are accurate terms to describe the gear I use and what I want when searching for the right item.

Products in this list

• M1 by Mount to Coast — I was blessed to test the M1, and I put 1,000+ miles on the shoe. This also included a 100 miler. Fast, durable, grippy, etc. It’s my favorite trail shoe by far.
• H1 by Mount to Coast — I use the Mount to Coast H1 as a reliable shoe for most trail runs and faster road runs. I have also used them in a few ultras and I’ve never had an issues. No blisters, black toenails, outsole issues, pricing problems. Highly recommend this shoe if you’re looking for durability and performance.
• T1 by Mount to Coast — This shoe is my go-to for strict trail runs. The Vibram outsole has amazing grip and the shoe itself has a lower profile, which I prefer for the ground feel it gives on trails. It’s also a fast shoe!
• Vertix 2S by COROS — I have the Coros Vertix 2, so the 2S is an upgrade. My Vertix 2 has been going strong since 2022. The battery life is insane. I charge it maybe once every other month or so.
• Drink Mix 320 by Maurten — I have always used Maurten for my racing. Not so much fueling for training, but I’ve always had success with Maurten in races. Zero GI distress and efficient fueling.
• Drink Mix 320 Caf 100 by Maurten — This is the drink mix I use for the last half of my races. The caffeine definitely is a nice touch to give me more fuel and, mainly, focus to get the job done.
• Running Bag 333 by Wise Ultra Running — I know there’s a plethora of packs out there, but I have yet to come across a better pack, personally. Not constricting, no bounce at all, and the zipper was a nice change to straps. I train and race in this vest very regularly.
• trailsense by Evil Eye — I don’t often wear sunglasses in training because I’m out early, but I’ve worn these in the desert and on the beach to train. I often times forget I have them on my head they’re so comfortable.
• LMNT Electrolytes (30 pack) by LMNT — I use LMNT every morning before running, and it’s my sodium source for long runs and races. It’s easy to use and easy to plan out fueling strategies with.
• Injinji Liner Crew Wool Socks by Injinji — I’ve used toe socks for years at this point. It really feels weird to wear normal socks. That’s what everyone says it seems, but I do appreciate the lack of blisters and toe splay that the socks allow. It’s also useful when doing strength training barefoot.

1. Pyrenees Hoodie by PATH Projects — I wear these to work in, actually. Super comfortable, breathable, stretchy. I could run in this hoodie, as well.
2. Wadi Tee 2.0 by PATH Projects — I have 4 of these shirts, and I train in them throughout the year. Everyday and every week! Amazing shirts!
3. Graves PX Shell Jacket by PATH Projects — I train in this jacket almost everyday of the weather calls for it. I own 2 of them to rotate. Any conditions, this shell is an amazing addition and very high quality.
4. Whey Back Vanilla Grass-Fed Whey Protein by Earth Fed Muscle — This is the Whey Protein I use for recovery and building muscle, and it’s also the one that I recommend to my patients. The taste and texture is hard to beat.
5. Pu’er Tuo Cha by Rishi Tea & Botanicals — I’m a fan of coffee, but I mainly drink puer tea. This brand is very authentic and clean. It is my ritual and beverage of choice before runs and in the afternoon.
6. Crew Drop One by SILO — I’ve started using this bag when I travel to trailheads. It will also be my go-to for my crew in future races. It’s such a thoughtful design for ultrarunners.
7. Noctia Max Headlamp by Moonlight — Unfortunately, they are not shipping to the US, currently. However, the brightness and battery life of this headlamp is amazing. The Bright As Day 800 has even more battery life, but the cord attached to the battery can be annoying.
