The new and much faster processor, maps with street names and POI’s, sapphire glass and incredible battery life, this really is the ultimate mountain sports watch!<div><br></div><div>The APEX4 has great maps, and you can load the No Business 100 GPX file and see the distance to the next aid station. Plenty of battery life for the race!</div>
Prodigio Pro by La Sportiva — The bottom line of the La Sportiva Prodigio Pro, is these are fantastic shoes for long days on the trails. Whether that's a long training run in the mountains of Colorado, or crushing some beastcoast vert at Frozen Head State Park, the super comfortable upper, the responsive and energetic midsole, and impressively grippy outsole really do make the Prodigio Pro the perfect 100 mile shoe in my opinion.
Aero Glide 3 GRVL by Salomon — Salomon Aero Glide 3 GRVL is they really are pretty great shoes! The upper is road shoe comfortable, the midsole is energetic, bouncy, comfortable, and FUN! The outsole works great on gravel. Really these are such fantastic shoes that I have really enjoyed running in, and I highly recommend you give them a shot.
ADV SKIN 12 by Salomon — Running in the Salomon Adv Skin 12 is a great experience and one of the most comfortable vests I have worn. The better materials around the trim, the upgraded zippers and plastic pull pieces are to grab, the new rear stowaway inside compartment and key attachment are all really nice and welcomed improvements!
Fenix HM65R-DT Dual Spotlight Headlamp - DISCONTINUED by Fenix — The Fenix HM65R-DT Dual Spotlight Headlamp is a new version of the best-selling HM65R Headlamp that features dual spotlights—one spotlight of cool white light, for longer distances, and the other with a very warm light for better performance in foggy, poor weather conditions.<div><br></div><div>I did have to replace my battery about 80 miles into the No Business 100, as I used the lamp on the medium setting. However, at the Leadville 100 I was able to use the low setting and make it the entire race on one battery. </div>
ULTRATRAIL FX.ONE by Leki — The Leki Ultratrail FX.One trekking poles are the best out there in my opinion. They are collapsible, extremely lightweight, and the Trail Shark grip system is so nice! I highly recommend them! They can stow nicely on the Salomon ADV Skin 12 vest too!<div><br></div><div>These poles will really help late in the race! </div>
CONCURVE 5” 2in1 Shorts Mens by Gorewear — I LOVE these shorts! The liners are so incredibly comfortable and hold things in place well, plus the outer layer is light and dries quickly!
Everyday Tech Tee Mens by Gorewear — These shirts are amazing! Lightweight, soft, comfortable, breathable, and they don't stretch if they get wet.
CONCURVE Thermo Hybrid Jacket Mens by Gorewear — Such a great mid-weight top when the weather starts to cool down! Love this shirt! The nights at the No Business 100 can get quite chilly; low 30º with humidity, so a good mid-weight layer is a must!
CONCURVE GORE-TEX Jacket Mens by Gorewear — A great GORE-TEX jacket is a must if you are going to be running in the mountains. You never know when the weather will turn, and you need to be prepared. This jacket is amazing!
Crew Drop One by SILO — The Crew Drop One is my go-to gym bag and race bag. Perfect for drop bags; its highly water resistant, has excellent elastic pockets inside to keep things separated, and a great shoe compartment!
Lynx PD by PATH Projects — The Lynx PD liners are my go-to liners if I am wearing a two layer short system. They have just the right amount of compression to keep everything where it's supposed to be, without being uncomfortable. They are very comfortable and dry well too!
I prefer a two layer short system for 100 milers, that way I can put shorts overtop of the liners, and when it gets cold I can easily change to some pants without having to get naked at an aid station
