Salomon Adv Skin 5 Set Hydration Vest Black S by Salomon — Best overall value/performance - racing and training
Revy Hydration Pack by REI — Janji kills it! Nice larger volume option from REI.
Active Skin 8 Hydration Vest by REI — Best intro option - reliable for daily training, racing, and long days on foot. Also available in 12L, but 8 is a good middle ground
ADV SKIN CROSS SEASON 15 by Salomon — Maybe a good choice for PNW - weather protected, more durable bigger volume pack. Still runnable. But definitely not ideal for any race under 200 miles. A hiking/fastpack option to pair with a more performance vest for running specific training/racing
UltrAspire Big Bronco Race Hydration Vest Green S by UltrAspire — This was the most popular vest at Cocodona250. If you get a 12L I'd go with this one. Just gotta check sizing.
Black Diamond Men's Distance 15 Pack Blue S by Black Diamond — An alternative to the Salomon Adv Cross Season 15. Reputable brand with top notch gear- available at REI. They have a 20L as well.
UltrAspire Bronco Race Vest Black S by UltrAspire — If you're looking for budget...this is a steal. 5L vest from a reputable Ultrarunning brand. Backed by Jeff "Bronco" Browning an absolute legend in the game.
S/LAB ADVENTURE 20 by Salomon — Best larger volume vest from Salomon, obviously not what you want for daily training or racing though. Good way to complete a quiver if you went with the Ultraspire 5L for example.
Brooks Men's Spartan Pants 2.0 Black L by Brooks
Janji Men's Atlas Multi Pants Black L by Janji
Cascadia 20 Trail Running Shoe - Men's by Brooks
H1 by Mount to Coast — These are incredible! The H1 is their "hybrid" which is essentially a lighter version of the trial shoe without vibram - though still plenty of traction on trails with the VersaGrip which also holds up better for road/gravel. The fit and lightweight feel of these is top notch, and they even go the distance as well (Jamil wore these for 600+ miles during his Strava chipotle challenge). Think of these as a more budget option of the Norda 001!
