UT & WAWithout the unknown and unknowable, life is flat and barren.
Seth grew up on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee where he spent a large portion of his childhood outside. While earning his BS in Biology at the University of the South, Seth was introduced to the joys of rock climbing and trail running, pursuits that carried him out west to bigger mountains. He enjoys all disciplines of mountain movement, whether on snow, ice, or rock. Seth spends his summers in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska living his passion for alpine climbing and guiding. His winters are spent in Utah chasing "the greatest snow on Earth" and working as an Avalanche Forecaster and Snow Safety Supervisor for Powder Mountain ski resort. Seth is an AMGA certified Rock Guide, Assistant Alpine Guide, and Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician. When not working, Seth enjoys a lazy trail run, a good cup of coffee, and spending time with his wife and daughter
