    IMTUF 100 - Rachel Bambrick

Check all the gear I used for IMTUF 100 Miler in Idaho! This is a mountainous 100, with over 20,000' of gain.

Rachel Bambrick's expert gear recommendations on Rendezvu

    Products in this list

    • NEOTRAIL PRO FX.ONE SUPERLITE by Leki — My favorite poles! Would highly recommend poles for this race - especially with the last 2 climbs when you're really feeling the fatigue.
    • M1 by Mount to Coast — Did the first half of the race in the M1s! Feet felt great, and they held up to the terrain well.
    • H1 by Mount to Coast — Did the second half of the race in the H1s. My M1s got wet in an overnight stream crossing, and changing into dry shoes was a great move. I felt good in them and continued on throughout the rest of the race. Even with small lugs I didn't have a problem.
    • Ultralight Performance Sock by East Peak — I’m a huge fan of super lightweight running socks and oh my GOSH these are amazing!!! So soft and so lightweight. I didn’t know my feet could feel this good. Truly.
    • Seamless Running Sports Bra by Zensah — The ONLY sports bra I'll wear for long runs and races. I never get sports bra chafing.
    • Women's Airolite Run Short Sleeve Shirt by Hoka — Lightweight, breathable, and it doesn't breakdown from my pack rubbing!
    • ADV SKIN 12 by Salomon — My choice in pack for races 100 miles or less
    • PF 30 Chew - watermelon by Precision Hydration
    • Body Glitter by Wildsense — My race kit isn't complete without glitter!
    • W's 9" Trail Half Tight by Janji — My go to long run and race shorts!
    • Gel Mix Bulk Bag by Open Fuel — Oh my goodness this has been one of my new all time favorites! Gel mix that you can use to make your own gels! Cost saving! Less waste! Great taste! I used this during Siskiyou 100k recently and had 0 GI issues. I will keep coming back to this product!
    • PF90 Gel by Precision
    • Drink Mix 24 Serving Bulk Bag by Open Fuel — Really love the light flavors of these! I prefer minimally flavored drink mixes, and these are just perfect. You really can’t go wrong, but I think Mango is my favorite.
    • CONCURVE GORE-TEX Jacket Mens by Gorewear — Brought this in case of rain, but ended up using it as an outer layer when it got cold overnight. Love that about rain jackets - they're multipurpose!

  1. Vortex Wind Block Gloves by Janji — Brought these out a few times overnight when it got cold. Love the convertible outer mits!
  2. Women's Airolite Short Sleeve 2.0 Shirt by Hoka
  3. Janji W's Sunchaser 50 Hooded Long Sleeve by Janji — Such a comfortable sun hoodie! I love that it works as a nice overlayer too for cooler race mornings.
  4. Nerds Gummy Clusters by Nerds Candy — Find me better race fuel, I dare you.
  5. Dirty Girl Gaiters by Spacin Out — The best gaiters out there!
  6. RACE Tube - TrailSkin Anti-Chafe Salve - 15g by TrailSkin — Ever since Wild Horse 200, this has become my favorite anti-chafe cream! I end all my races with 0-minimal blisters!!
  7. OpenDots 2 by Shokz — Such great battery life and they stay super secure in your ear! Lets me jam out to 00's pop punk all day long!
  8. Lumen 800 Solstice by UltrAspire — Lasted all night through a LONG night (nearly 12 hours)! It was so nice to not stress about battery life overnight.
  9. Sprinter 500 Headlamp by Black Diamond — I like using both a waist light and a head lamp. That way when I turn my head, the beam of light follows with the head lamp. I really like this one because of the strap over top. I don't have to tighten it super tight and it still stays in place.
