Camalot™ Ultralight by Black Diamond — The BD ultralight cams have become my favorite in the larger sizes, and are what I use in #1-3 most often. The increased price and shorter useful life make them less attractive as a starter set, where I would recommend the standard C4s instead.
C4 Camalot by Black Diamond — The long time standard in cams! BD C4s are hard to beat, long lasting, easy to use, and at a reasonable price point. I use C4s in sizes #1 and up, and generally carry two each sizes 1-3, supplementing with larger sizes as needed. For smaller cams I prefer the Z4, and will often use Ultralights when concerned about weight.
Camalot™ Z4 by Black Diamond — Z4s are a great small cam. Their narrow head and flexible stem allow them to be placed in small pods, and tight spaces. In my "standard rack" I carry two each in 0.3-0.75, occasionally supplementing with the smaller sizes
Offset Stopper Set #7-11 by Black Diamond — These are my favorite stoppers! The offsets tend to seat better in most placements. When climbing longer routes, I often also carry some additional non-offset stoppers, though these get used the most.
Stopper Set #4-13 by Black Diamond — These offer greater range than the offset stopper set at a lower price point. I often use these to supplement the offsets, especially in the largest and smallest sizes.
10mm Dynex Runners by Black Diamond — I use BD Dynex runners for anchors (190-240CM), "alpine draws" (60cm).
Miniwire Alpine Quickdraw by Black Diamond — Alpine draws are critical on many trad routes rot extend gear. I generally cary 6-8 draws, with up to 10 on wandering routes with longer pitches.
