- OpenRun Pro 2 by Shokz — My first pair of Shokz... my gateway drug to this brand of headphones.
Water resistant. Excellent sound quality. Best part is that I can hear what's going on around me AND listen to music while I'm out for a run.
only downside to the banded shokz: if you wear glasses and/or a hat, the band of the headphones may be uncomfortable. however, worn without glasses or a hat? no problem.
- OpenDots 2 by Shokz — The newest and most favorite of my Shokz collection so far.
I wear them at work. I wear them on the trail. I wear them running. I'm actually wearing them right now as I'm typing this.
I love the dots for the convenience and comfort. They don't interfere with any glasses or hats. They have an extraordinary battery life. The sound - plus being able to hear my environment - is perfect. Down pour resistant. Sweat resistant. Multi-device pairing.
No notes. Buy these.
- Garmin fenix 7X Solar Sapphire Black 51mm by Garmin — Garmin's already at the Fenix 9 but I've had Fenixes since the Fenix 3.
This abusive wrist dictator is my favorite of the sport watches I've owned.
I haven't ventured into Coros because I've been so ingrained in the Garmin ecosystem. But being brand loyal for over 15 years has to say something, right?
- Oura Ring 4 by Oura — I got the Oura because my brother teased me for wearing my Garmin on my wrist to a wedding....
But the metrics are interesting. I use the Oura to compare to Garmin metrics, as well as cycle and stress tracking.
