Phew - I'm a jack of all trades, part time adventurer, full time fun lover. I'm a big fan of type 2 fun -- no matter how much I might complain in the moment. My relationship with adventure has shifted over the years. In high school I went on school sanctioned backpacking trips and occasional adventures with my dad. In college I skied and hiked and biked and climbed and really tried to be open to everything. Post college I battled several years of very intense migraines and getting out in the fresh air was something that kept me alive and happy and going. Now I'm in my married with kids phase of life but also getting more into longer distance endurance sports. I've always been a person who is willing to offer advice and help get people going in sports they're interested in. I love sharing gear and making recommendations. I passionately believe that you don't necessarily need the nicest or fanciest gear -- you really need to get out there and figure out what works for you!!
Discipline: Outdoor Recreation - Ski/Climb/Hike and more
Specialty: Multi-Sport Athlete -- now with kids in tow!
Telemark skiing: raced at telemark World Cup events, competed in a telemark free ride competition at Targhee, 15 times female winner of the longest running telemark beer league in the country. Completed both the wonderland trail around mt rainier and the tour de Mont Blanc in Europe Personal highlight - seeing my kids get excited about being outdoors, on skis, by the rivers, climbing on rocks. That’s a win!!!
