Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, Maddy has been skiing since she was two. She was on the club ski team at Colgate University, falling in love with the mountains in upstate New York - backpacking in the fall and skiing in the winter. She now lives in New York City, where she makes it a point to get outside every day. A five-time NYC Marathon finisher and 2025 Half Ironman finisher, she also road and mountain bikes and chases powder in the backcountry whenever she can. By day, she works in finance, but she’s passionate about helping people stay connected to nature, find adventure, and bring the outdoors into everyday city life.
