Lila Gaudrault's Expert Gear Recommendations
Cocodona 250!
- C1 by Mount to Coast — My all-time favorite shoe for runs of all distances! The C1 is built as a super trainer, and I plan to use it for the more runnable sections of Cocodona. I love that it's designed specifically with ultramarathons in mind--a unique and much appreciated feature of Mount to Coast shoes!
- T1 by Mount to Coast — The T1 is Mount to Coast's trail running shoe, built specifically for ultra distance events. I've used it to train through the harsh Vermont winter (think, very icy roads!), and appreciate its grip, lightness, and dual lacing system.
- Maple Waffle by UnTapped — As a Vermonter, I'm obligated to love all things maple syrup! In all seriousness though...I've been using UnTapped products for years, and love the great taste and quick energy boost they provide. I plan to use their waffles, gels, and drink mixes throughout Cocodona!
- H1 by Mount to Coast — I love the H1, a hybrid shoe that performs well on both road and trail surfaces!
- Nathan Women's Pinnacle Breeze 4L Hydration Vest by Shop All Nathan
- Garmin Enduro 3 GPS Watch by Shop All Nathan — I have been using the Enduro 3 for a few weeks and absolutely loving it! The battery is excellent, so it's perfect for a long race like Cocodona.
- Hidden Comfort No Show by Balega US — My go-to running socks!
- Offgrid 5 Panel Hat by Turtle Fur
- Petzl Actik Core Headlamp by Shop All Nathan
- Recovery Drink Mix by UnTapped — UnTapped just released their new Recovery Drink Mix, and I'm a big fan! The cocoa flavor is especially good, and I plan to use it both during and after Cocodona.
