Gear I actually use and would buy again.. and again

Julyssa Martinez's expert gear recommendations on Rendezvu

    Products in this list

    • Crew Drop One by SILO — I’ve been using the SILO Crew Drop One for training and race weekends, and it’s QUICKLY become one of my favorite gear bags. It’s the perfect size for organizing my race day essentials, and the bright colors make it easy to find in a crowded crew area. If you’re an ultra or trail runner looking for a durable, well organized gear bag, this is the BEST choice!
    • All Products from Squirrel's Nut Butter! by Squirrels Nut Butter — This is perfect for you if you’re active. It’s perfect for preventing blisters or chafing from clothes or gear. It’s a huge game changer
    • Roll Drop Organizer by SILO — The SILO Roll Drop has been the best addition to my gear. It keeps my nutrition and essentials organized and easy to grab without digging through a bag. It’s perfect for race weekends, ultras, or anyone who likes to keep their gear neat and accessible like me!
    • HYPERLYTE H1 by Hyperlyte — I’ve been using Hyperlyte Drink Mix during long runs and races, and it’s been a great way to stay on top of my hydration + carbs. It mixes easily, tastes good without being overpowering, and is a great fit for anyone training in the heat.
    • Recovery Mix by Tailwind Nutrition — 20g of protein and tastes like a treat. This is hands down the best protein I’ve had. There’s carbs and electrolytes. It’s super tasty, not too sweet. I literally crave it after a long run and I feel like I’m treating myself. SO WORTH IT.
    • Women's Trail Midweight Mini-Crew by Injinji — I wear Injinji toe socks for my long runs and races, and they’ve made a huge difference in helping prevent blisters. They’re comfortable, breathable, and a great choice for anyone who spends long hours on their feet
    • High Carb Drink Mix by Tailwind Nutrition — I use Tailwind High Carb in lemonade when I don’t want to carry a ton of gels. I LOVE THE FLAVOR. It’s kinda like apple juice. It mixes easily, tastes light, and is a great option for endurance athletes looking to get more carbs in during long efforts
    • Women's Speedgoat 6 GTX Shoes by Hoka — I’ve been running in the HOKA Speedgoat 6 for a while now. I have worn the speedgoat model for the last few years, and it’s been a solid trail shoe with great grip and plenty of cushioning for long miles. It’s a great fit for trail runners tackling technical terrain. I found it true to size with a secure fit.
    • Adventure Hat 2.0 by Hoka — I could not recommend this hat more!! It’s perfect for hot conditions. There’s pockets on the sides for ice storage, it’s not like your average hat
