My kit for trail running. Have done a 50k ultra and do most of my training with this gear. Feels like this is enough gear to get me through exactly 50k.
Crew Drop One by SILO — Best trail running travel bag in the industry hands down. Super high quality, keeps all your stuff organized. Little pockets everywhere if you're a neat freak!
Salomon S/lab Genesis
Limited Courtney Edition by Salomon — Go to trail runners. Shout out Courtney for these. Super great for technical terrain and hold up really well on short-mid runs. Don't plan on using for ultras.
Selun FL Sun Hoody Men by Mammut — Super great for sunny days! Breathable and dries really quickly.
Brooks Cascadia Elite by Brooks — I'm so excited to try this shoe
Mammut Aenergy TR 2 in 1 Shorts Shorts Mens by Mammut — Go to running shorts. Liners are awesome and keeps everything in place ;)
Consurve Windstopper Insulated Hooded Jacket Men's by Gorewear — Discontinued but dope jacket!
Shakeout Core Stellar by Salomon — Super lightweight shirt and insanely breathable. This is my favorite running shirt by far.
Garmin HRM-Dual by Showa — Standard chest strap. Go search Rendezvu for a better one. This one is old.
Salomon Sense Pro 6 Hydration Vest by Salomon — Super great vest for anything sub-50k. I'm using a larger one for my 100-miler. I'm not elite though and I like to run slow. Holds 1-liter of water and comes with bottles which is great.
Velocity Trail Cap - Mauve by Mons Royale — Go to cap. I'll probably have it on if you meet me.
GOCap - Classic - Athletics - Deep Space by Ciele Athletics — Another go to! Comfy and washable. Only thing I dont like about it is the adjuster comes out a lot so it makes it tough to wear backwards.
Garmin Forerunner 265 by Garmin — Great for a beginner. Cheap. Not perfect and doesn't have all the bells and whistles but lasts a long time and integrates with everything.
Maurten Gel 100 by Maurten — These are dope. Get a balance of the caffeine ones and the non-caffeinated. They go down easy, help you recover and are packed with carbs. Definitely taste a little weird at first but they are a hell of a lot easier to get down than regular gels.
Gel 100 Caf 100 by Maurten — CAFFEINE! Love these but are a bit pricey. I use these for long runs, races and training gut purposes. I use liquid carbs for daily training.
