The Short Link That Does the Work

A direct link looks like rendezvu.co/p-12345678?h=your-username: "p-" plus the product's 8-character code, plus your username. It sends whoever clicks it straight to the product on the brand's own site, while Rendezvu records the click and credits any sale to you. One short line that fits anywhere a link works: a bio, a story, a text, a comment, a newsletter.

    What Happens When Someone Clicks

There is no Rendezvu page in the middle. The click passes through Rendezvu in a blink: it is recorded, tied to you as the host, and the shopper lands directly on the brand's product page ready to buy. That makes direct links the fastest path from your recommendation to a checkout, which is exactly what you want when the person clicking has already decided to trust your pick.

The journey: you share the link, Rendezvu records and credits the click, the shopper lands on the brand.

    Where to Get Yours

The easiest source is the Links page (Quick Links in your account menu, or rendezvu.co/links). It lists every product on your lists with its ready-made direct link and a Copy button, so you never build one by hand. You will also find direct links behind the Copy Link button on your own product pages (choose Direct to brand) and next to the Endorse a product template on the Share page.

The Links page: one ready-made direct link per product, copied in a click.

    Why the ?h= Part Matters

The h parameter is what names you as the host, and it is how the sale gets credited to you. Every link you copy from Rendezvu already includes it, so the rule is simple: copy links from the app instead of retyping them, and if you ever edit a link by hand, keep the ?h=your-username part intact. A direct link without it forces the system to guess which host earned the click, and the guess may not be you.

Direct Link or Product Page Link?

You have two links for every product, and they earn the same commission. Use the direct link when speed matters: story links, "link in bio" swaps, or replying to someone who is ready to buy now. Use your profile product page link (rendezvu.co/your-username/12345678) when context sells: it carries your notes, your photos, and your related picks, which is worth an extra click for someone still deciding. Lists and brands have their own links too (rendezvu.co/your-username/lists/26868234 for a list, and a b-12345678 short link for a brand storefront), all copyable from the app.
