    Disconnect Instagram and delete the data Rendezvu holds

    Hosts can connect a professional Instagram account to Rendezvu. This page explains how to disconnect it, what we delete when you do, and how to ask us to delete everything. For what we read and why, see our Privacy Policy.

    Disconnect Instagram

    Option 1: In Rendezvu

    1. Log in to Rendezvu and open your host profile.
    2. Open Social Media (the edit button for your social accounts).
    3. Find Instagram under Connected accounts and choose Disconnect.

    Option 2: In Instagram

    1. In the Instagram app, go to Settings, then Apps and websites (also called Website permissions).
    2. Open the Active tab and select Rendezvu.
    3. Choose Remove.

    What happens next

    We delete your Instagram access token immediately and stop collecting data. Instagram-sourced stats are deleted within 30 days.

    Delete everything

    To have all of your Rendezvu data deleted, including your account, email support@rendezvu.co from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We don't offer a self-serve account deletion button yet, so email is the way to do it. Deleting your Rendezvu account also deletes your Instagram data.

    If you removed Rendezvu from Instagram, Meta gives you a confirmation code. Enter it below to see the status of the request.
