Daniel Turner was raised in Bear Lake, Idaho, and resides in Ogden, Utah. Daniel is the owner-operator of Bear Lake Mountain Guides and the Associate Director of Weber State University Outdoor Program. Daniel holds such credentials as: AIARE Pro Level 2, AIARE Course Leader and Instructor, UAC Observer, AMGA Rock Guide, AMGA Apprentice Ski Guide, SPRAT Level 1, Swiftwater Rescue Technician, Wilderness First Responder, a licensed Idaho Climbing/Ski Guide, Utah Whitewater Boat Captain, and Dad. Daniel serves on the board of directors for Ogden Avalanche, Visit Ogden, and Ogden Community Foundation.
