Bullet 16 Backpack by Black Diamond — This is one of my favorite multi-pitch backpacks for long days on the wall. It has a simple, streamlined design that makes it easy to climb with and it offers more than enough space to carry the extras you need for a long day out. I can easily fit my hydration reservoir, snacks, and even my approach shoes when I know I have a walk-off descent.
Gregory Hydro Hydration Reservoir - 2 Liters by Gregory — This is my favorite hydration reservoir to bring along for long multi-pitch climbs.
Petzl GRIGRI Belay Device Gray by Petzl — My go-to belay device from top roping to lead climbing. The GRIGRI is the gold standard when it comes to belaying because of its assisted braking technology and its compact, lightweight design.
Petzl Sm'D Triact-Lock Carabiner by Petzl — This is the triple-action carabiner I pair with my Grigri.
Black Diamond ATC-Guide Belay Device Black by Black Diamond — The device I use primarily for rappelling and can also be used as a lightweight option to belay one or two followers from above.
Petzl Attache Carabiner Yellow by Petzl — The carabiner I pair with my ATC Guide belay device for rappelling and belaying.
Connect Adjust by Petzl — This is the PAS I use anytime I'm multi-pitch climbing. It makes it easy to extend your rappel off your harness and is easily adjustable for comfortable stances at rappel stations.
Petzl Sm'D Twist-Lock Autolock Carabiner Orange by Petzl — I pair this locker with my Mammut Magic sling and Petzl Microtraxion for anchor building and rescue scenarios, as well as with my Petzl Connect Adjust to easily secure myself to an anchor.
Petzl Micro Traxion Pulley Orange by Petzl — A valuable piece of kit used for gear hauling, self-rescue, and more. I store this on a Petzl Sm'D Twist Lock Carabiner.
Sterling 6.8 mm HollowBlock2 Loop - 13.5 in. by Sterling — This is the friction hitch I use as my third hand backup while rappelling, as well as for any type of rescue situation.
Black Diamond HotForge Screwgate Carabiners (3 Pack) by Black Diamond — The trusty lockers I use for everything from building anchors to attaching my third-hand backup while rappelling.
Petzl Cordex Lightweight Belay Gloves by Petzl — My favorite gloves for belaying and rappelling. These make rope handling a breeze and are also surprising breathable and comfortable to wear most of the year.
Rocha Screw Lock Carabiner by Petzl — I normally carry two of these multi-purpose H-style lockers: one to hold my belay gloves, and the other to clean a sport route or clove in at an anchor while trad/multi-pitch climbing.
C.A.M.P. Alpine Express Dyneema Quickdraws - 60 Cm (4 pack) by Camp — I carry eight of these alpine draws for extending placements while I'm trad climbing. The photon carabiners are big and easy to handle, making clipping a breeze.
Mammut Sender Keylock Quickdraw - 17 cm by Mammut — I carry four of these quickdraws as a lightweight alternative for when I don't need the full extension of an alpine draw. The skinny dyneema sling does a good job of absorbing any movement from the rope to prevent pieces from walking into cracks.
C.A.M.P. Nano 22 Rack Pack by Camp — I rack all of my cams on these because of how light and easy to clip they are.

Totem Cam (Black #0.5/Blue #0.65) by Totem Cams — Totem cams always seem to fit exactly where you need them to! I carry one Black (#0.5) and one Blue (#0.65) to round out the smallest cams on my rack. For reference, the Black Totem is similar to a #0.2 in Black Diamond Z4s and the Blue Totem is similar to a #0.3, but they have a larger camming range which means they fit in more placements.
Black Diamond Camalot Z4 Cams - #0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.75) by Black Diamond — With a super flexible stem that prevents walking and a narrow head width that fits in tight placements, these cams fit where many others won't. I normally carry singles in the Z4 including 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, and 0.75.
Wild Country Friend Cam Set - #0.4, 0.5, 0.75 by Wild Country — With extendable slings and great trigger action, I carry singles in Wild Country Friends including 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 2, 3, and 4. This set is a cost-effective way to add these cams to your rack.

Black Diamond Camalot C4 Cam - #1, 2, 3, 4, 5 by Black Diamond — A staple on any trad climber's rack, I carry singles in the Black Diamond C4s including #1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. They have a slightly smaller camming range than the Wild Country Friends, which offers great variety on your rack so you can always find that perfect placement.
Wild Country Friend Cam (Silver #4) by Wild Country — <font size="3"><span style="letter-spacing: -0.048px;">With extendable slings and great trigger action, I carry a single #4 Wild Country Friend and another #4 from Black Diamond so I have different camming ranges to increase my placement options.</span></font>
Black Diamond HotWire Carabiner by Black Diamond — I use three of these larger snap gate carabiners to rack my nuts because the keylock nose can prevent gear from sliding off while you're making a placement.
Wild Country Rock Wire Nut Set - #1-5 by Wild Country — These are the nuts I carry which I think are easier to place than the Black Diamond set.
Wild Country Rock Wire Nut Set - #6-10 by Wild Country — These are the nuts I carry which I think are easier to place than the Black Diamond set.
DMM HB Alloy Offset Stopper Set - #7-11 by DMM — These fit where cams or other traditional nuts won't, which is why I always carry this set with me while trad climbing.
Wild Country Pro Key Nut Tool with Leash by Wild Country — This is my favorite nut tool because you can clip it directly to your harness, and with the built-in leash, you'll never have to worry about dropping your nut tool again!
BlueWater 5 mm x 20 ft. Titan Dyneema Cord by BlueWater — My go-to cord for anchor building that's lightweight and packs down small.
Black Diamond 10 mm Dynex Runner Blue 120 Cm by Black Diamond — I normally carry two of these 120 slings clipped on CAMP Photon carabiners when I really need to extend a placement, or when I'm equalizing two pieces in an anchor.
C.A.M.P. Photon Wire Straight Gate Carabiner by Camp — My Microtraxion lives on this carabiner for easy deployment, and I also use these to wear my 120cm slings cross-body for quick access.
Mammut Magic Sling 12.0 Blue 120 Cm by Mammut — I pair this sling with a Petzl Sm'd Twist-Lock Carabiner to use for anchor building and rescue scenarios.
