I've had my coros apex 2 for the last 3 years-I'd say it really shines in it's battery life and GPS functioning. There's a lot of bells & whistles with gadgets nowadays, I've enjoyed just having a watch that's got the necessities for everyday training and features to handle the occasional bigger, longer day in the mountains.
