Birkenstock Women's Arizona Soft Footbed Sandals Black 40 EU Medium/Narrow by Birkenstock — I started wearing Birkenstocks in 2012 to help me get over a bout of plantar fasciitis. I became a believer! I have the Arizona soft footbed model for the summer and the Boston soft footbed for the winter.
Birkenstock Women's Boston Soft Footbed Clogs Brown 39 EU Medium/Narrow by Birkenstock — After the Birkenstock Arizona model helped me over plantar fasciitis in 2012, I got the Boston model! I wore these when I worked full time in the bone research lab. Both models are still going strong and my recovery shoe choice!
Nike Vaporfly 4 by REI — I set the first World Record in a pair of carbon plated shoes back in Nov. 2017, when I wore the Nike Vaporfly for my 100 mile World Record (12:42:40). The current version is the best yet! I especially love the upper on these, and they feel more lower profile than previous versions. Great shoe!
Women - Trail Running by Salomon — I first wore Salomons 10+ yrs ago when they recruited me for sponsorship. I really liked both their road and trail shoes and actually wore one of their road shoes when I won the 2016 UROC 100km. In recent yrs, I've worn the Genesis and you can't beat the grip, flex, lightweight, and versatility on terrain!
