Men’s PRO Zipper Waders
“For convenience, comfort, and quick on-and-off, nothing compares to zippered waders. The convenience issues are obvious, but the waders have to be of the highest quality construction to provide confidence in performance. The PRO Waders are the most durable, abrasion-resistant, and feature-rich breathable waders we’ve ever built.”

Ultralight Wader - Men's
“The Orvis Ultralight Waders are a great option when you’re dealing with cold water but warmer air temps—especially if you’re hiking into spots or moving a lot throughout the day. They’re built with a lightweight, breathable 4-layer fabric, so you stay dry without overheating when temperatures rise. These aren’t insulated, so if you’re fishing true cold conditions all day (think winter or standing in freezing water for hours), you’ll want to step up to a heavier, more insulated wader. But for spring, summer, or early fall—especially when you’re covering ground—these really shine. What I like most is how easy they are to move in. They’re light, flexible, and don’t feel bulky, which makes a big difference when you’re climbing over rocks, hiking into water, or just trying to stay comfortable for a full day on the river. If you’re someone who hikes, fishes warmer weather, or just doesn’t want to feel weighed down all day, these are a fantastic option.”

Pro Wader - Men's
“If you’re fishing in seriously cold conditions or just want a set of waders that will hold up for years, the Orvis PRO Waders are hard to beat. These are built with a heavy-duty 4-layer upper and 5-layer lower Cordura construction, making them some of the most durable and abrasion-resistant waders out there. This is the kind of wader you reach for when you’re layering up, standing in cold water for long periods, or putting your gear through rough conditions. They’ve got a more substantial build compared to ultralight options, which means better protection, more warmth retention (with proper layering), and long-term durability. They’re not the lightest or most breathable option for hot days—but that’s not what they’re designed for. These are made for anglers who want something tough, reliable, and built to last through multiple seasons of hard use. If you fish cold weather often or just want a premium, long-lasting setup, these are the waders you’ll want in your rotation.”

Pro Wading Boot - Men's
“These are your heavy-duty wading boots—built for anglers who want maximum support and durability. Compared to lightweight options, the PRO boots have a higher cut and more structure around the ankle, giving you noticeably better stability when wading strong current, uneven bottoms, or rough terrain. They feature a reinforced upper and a wide, stable platform that helps keep you planted, along with a Michelin outsole that provides excellent grip on slick rocks and river bottoms. These aren’t the lightest boots out there—but that’s the tradeoff for more ankle support, better durability, and long-term performance. One thing I always recommend with these: go up a full shoe size from your regular size to account for wading booties and thicker socks. It makes a big difference in comfort, especially on long days. If you want a boot that feels solid underfoot and holds up season after season, these are hard to beat.”

Ultralight Boot
“These are the opposite end of the spectrum from the PRO boots—built more like a hiking boot than a traditional heavy-duty wading boot. The Orvis Ultralight boots are designed for anglers who are covering ground, hiking into spots, or just want something that feels light and nimble all day long. They’re extremely lightweight, drain and dry quickly, and don’t absorb much water, which keeps your steps feeling light even after hours in and out of the river. The comfort level is a big standout here—these feel much closer to a trail shoe than a bulky wading boot, which makes a huge difference if you’re walking miles or climbing over rocks and terrain. You do give up some ankle support compared to the PRO boots, but that’s the tradeoff for the lighter weight and increased mobility. If you’re fishing smaller water, hiking in, or just want something that doesn’t feel heavy on your feet, these are a great choice. Just like with the PRO boots, I recommend going up a full shoe size from your regular size to account for wader booties and thicker socks—makes a big difference in comfort on longer days. If you’re the type that moves a lot and values comfort and agility, these are hard to beat.”
