Smartwool Ski Zero Cushion Sock
“Merino wool is the gold standard in ski socks, and Smartwool's version is the perfect combination of warmth and moisture wicking to keep your feet happy. Remember always go "thin to win".”

Dakine Leather Sequoia GORE-TEX Mitten
“The best bang for your buck to protect your hands from the elements. Removable liner can be worn on it's own and is touch screen compatible, or combined with the Gore-Tex outer mitt for the ultimate protection.”

IceBreaker Merino Blend 125 ZoneKnit Long-Sleeve Crewe
“You can never have too many cozy base layers. Wear in the mountains, or just around town. When it's this comfy, why limit yourself?”

E-Pro 85 Ski
“This women's-specific shredder from Dynastar is not like so many dumbed-down skis women have to deal with - it has the same construction and Titanal Rocket Frame that the M Pro has. These are stiff, fast, and damp, but without the severe weight of skis like the Black Pearl or Secret in its class due to the Hybrid Core construction that incorporates polyurethane on the sides. A great deal and a great looking ski for athletic intermediates through expert-level ladies who ski on piste.”

Rallybird 102 Ski
“The Rallybird series from Rossi is the women's Sender, which I think is one of the most versatile skis on the market for the price. They have a lighter weight wood in the core, air tips, and a fantastic rocker profile that lets you in and out of turns whenever you want. This 102mm waist is more powder- and freeride focused, so advanced and expert skiers are the best match for it; however, athletic West Coast intermediates will love it too, as it doesn't have all the metal of the Ti version so the weight is approachable for anyone. The 94mm version is also available and is more of an all-mountain width.”

Experience W 86 Ski w/ Look SPX 12 GW Binding
“I owned the men's Experience 88 with Look bindings, and wow - they were the easiest skis to ski I've ever had. They can take high speeds and go off trail, but they are more at home on groomed runs for ladies who aren't speed demons. They have air tips, a lightweight wood core, and what they used to call Auto-Turn Rocker for the profile - and that was actually an apt name! They felt like they got into a rhythm of turns so easily it was automatic. I miss them! These come with a binding for the price, so if you are an athletic beginner through an advanced skier, lock these down.”

Meta Ski Poles
“My favorite poles on sale! These are the most stylish poles you can find, I think. Standard alloy with powder-style baskets.”

Attack 14 Gripwalk Ski Binding
“The best value binding, in my opinion. I have demoed these and they feel exactly the same as the pricier Marker Griffons with the differences being a slight weight increase and a chunkier toe piece. At 14 DIN, these are for advanced and expert skiers; lower DIN versions are available and cost even less!”

Griffon 13 ID Ski Binding
“The binding I recommend everyone who is advanced or expert level (with the Squire being for beginners and intermediates). The performance to price ratio is excellent here, and the low weight of the Marker Royal Family series is what has made them industry leaders forever.”

AMT Carbon SQS Ski Pole
“A quality carbon pole under $100, which is hard to find! The advantages of carbon are the super light weight, the bendiness and pop, and slimmer profile.”

Squire 11 Ski Binding
“The standard-bearer for intermediate ski bindings! These and Tyrolia Attacks are the only bindings I recommend for those seeking the best bang for the buck (and honestly, I would recommend these regardless of price).”
