“I use this pack quite often. It's great when I'm guiding a non technical ski tour, want more layers, or am doing a bigger ski tour (like a multi day traverse). It's lightweight, the lid is adjustable with the volume you have in it, and I like having a separate compartment for the shovel and probe.”

“I'm 5'2" (with longer legs and minimal torso) and have a difficult time finding packs that fit me well. I recently went backpacking to get to a climb on Granite Peak in Montana, and I used this pack for 30 miles (trail for about 12miles) and over 10k vertical. It has hip belt pockets (helpful for snacks and phone), side pockets (I used for bear spray) and mesh back pocket (I used for easy rain gear access). I LOVE this pack!”

“Carries very well, and actually climbs pretty well too! Not often a pack does both well. Pretty stripped down to save weight and stay clean on route.”

“For uphill at resorts or single day tours, this pack is the best it gets. With the side zip and external dynema skin pocket, I fit my Phantoms in the skin pocket for the uphill. Keeps gear dry and transitions quick.”
