Camalot™ Z4
“A nice refinement over the the C4 cams, the Z4's have smaller heads which allow them to fit in more placements. Love them.”

C4 Camalot
“These are the standard against which every other piece of traditional climbing protection is measured against. I often even think about stopper sizes in relation to the sizes of C4 cams.”

Black Diamond Distance Z Trekking Poles - Pair Gray 100 Cm
“I've been using the Z poles for years and I love them. They are light, durable and dependable. I've used them at UTMB to High Lonesome 100 and they sure have handled the demand I put on them!”

Infinity Cord
“Several sizes are available. I have the short and long, but not the mid size one. Short is great for a rappel extension, long is great for many uses.”

Black Diamond Camalot Z4 Cams - #0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.75)
“With a super flexible stem that prevents walking and a narrow head width that fits in tight placements, these cams fit where many others won't. I normally carry singles in the Z4 including 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, and 0.75.”

ATC-Guide Belay Device
“The best quiver-of-one plaquette/tube-style device by a mile. Wider aperture (hole size) than its competitors for advanced top-belay scenarios with 1 or 2 climbers. Buy this first for rappels over a standard tube style device so you don't have to buy a second one later!”

Camalot™ Ultralight
“Ultralight cams come in sizes 1-4. If you have the budget, I recommend springing for it. If your budget is limited, go with the regular cams in the next link I share.”

Stopper Set #4-13
“I find these stoppers the easiest to place. I used several different brands before climing on my buddies Black Diamond Stoppers. I went home that day and ordered my own set. I can't explain what it is about their design, but I find these the easiest to pick the right size and slot it into constrictions just right. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that they use the same color scheme as the popular Camelot C4s. The really small stoppers (#1-3) are not rated for lead falls, body weight only. People use those for aid climbing. If you need a recommendation for really small stoppers, check out my link for DMM brass offsets.”
