Mountain Series Medical Kit - Guide
“A first aid kit is crucial, this is nice that it comes pre-built and you can adjust throughout the season.”
Clara Maynard
Adventure Medical Kits · $22
C-Splint
“For splinting and all the other uses we learned in class”
Clara Maynard

Expedition Medical Kit
“If you were going to purchase one ready-made kit on this list, I’d purchase this one. It even comes with a wilderness medicine guide. I would still make modifications though for your specific trip length, risk, group size, activity. Swap out triple antibiotic for bacitracin, remove scalpel and scrub brush, replace elastic bandage for a larger one, etc.”

Trauma Tourniquet
“Versatile tourniquet that can be used on pets and children, doubles as elastic wrap for pressure bandage and splinting, and is compact. Good to bring a tourniquet when recreating with skis or ice tools and working around any kind of tools.”
Clara Maynard
Adventure Medical Kits · $63
Ultralight Watertight Medical Kit - .9
“Decent kit for short trips but I would customize it for your specific needs. For example potentially removing triple antibiotic ointment and adding more gauze, larger elastic wrap, tourniquet, splint, or more meds.”

Adventure Medical Kits Mountain Series Hiker
“Good size, quality, and organization.”

Mountain Series Medical Kit - Day Tripper Lite
“Smaller kit perfect for light weight objectives, and to live in your pack. A ziplock of bandaids does not count as a kit.”

Mountain Series Medical Kit - Backpacker
“The next level up from the previous. Its bulkier, heavier, and you probably don't need all of tis all the time. For overnights, backpacking trips, larger backcountry objectives.”
Shea Aquilano

Adventure Medical Kits Mountain Series Backpacker Medical Kit Blue
“The gauze pad and the elastic bandage are part of mandatory kit requirements–the rest is good backup for your crew to have!”

“A nice tiny first aid kit for single-day adventures.”

Ultralight/Watertight Medical Kit - .7
“We like these Adventure Medical Kits because of the waterproof, durable storage and small form factor. We have one in most packs. You can get away with a bit smaller if going for a solo trip, but never hurts to have a few extra first aid essentials on your hut trip. We do have a larger first aid kit at the hut as well (well-stocked and thought through, Laura is a physician), but for days on the trail you’ll want your own.”
