We are all about hydrating with carbs and sodium on the run and tailwind delivers on both fronts with 25g of carbs per serving and 310mg of sodium!

If you're running an ultra it's likely they will be serving Tailwind (for good reason)... so, definitely wise to utilize through training as well. The Dauwatermelon is my go-to and I've yet to find any palate fatigue using that. Tastes like jolly ranchers and keeps you fueled to push your limits.

How could I create a fueling list and not include a delicious Courtney Dauwalter flavor? Tailwind has been a staple in my hydration and fueling strategy for years, and this flavor is just plain fun. Like the other Tailwind mixes, it provides calories, carbohydrates, and electrolytes in a simple, easy-to-drink package that has been kind to my stomach during long runs and races. What I appreciate most is that even after hours on the trail, the flavor stays enjoyable and doesn't leave me dreading the next sip. That's a bigger deal than most people realize when you're 15, 20, or 30 hours into an event. Whether you're chasing a PR, an aid station cutoff, or just trying to survive your latest questionable race registration, this flavor helps make fueling a little more enjoyable. Plus, if Courtney approves, that's usually a pretty good sign. 😄🏃♂️⛰️🍉

Easier on the gut than other products, milder flavor to avoid cloying sweetness, and more usable carbs and sodium numbers. I also love the Mandarin and Tropical flavors! I stash a few single serving packs in my drop bags as treats!
