A straightforward pole that can take a beating. Love the long grip for cold days and steep sidehills.

Ben Corwin, Hutkeeper and mountain adventurer

The BD expedition is a great 2-piece touring pole offering just enough adjustment and plenty of stability for long skins (like the 11 miles in to Gondola Village). If you're bringing skis, you might as well bring a two-piece pole rather than futzing with a 3-piece pole (unless you're a splitboarder).

Will help you immensely on the uphill & perform perfectly on the downhill. The extended grips feel great in the hand. Bonus points? Much easier to pack!
