    10 Products I Actually Use - Aidan Lehfeldt-Ehlinger

The gear I actually use and would buy again

Aidan Lehfeldt-Ehlinger's expert gear recommendations on Rendezvu

    Products in this list

    • Running socks - Run Anatomic Crew by Sidas — Light weight and been THE ONLY sock I will run in since I found them. No blisters ever.
    • Prodigio Pro Women's by La Sportiva — MY OFFICIAL GLASS SLIPPER - BEST SHOE EVER. I will note - best if you try this one on, La Sportiva sizing is always funny but this one i went a full size up (Im a 7.5 in most brands, usually buy a 39 in sportiva, but this one was just right in a 40)
    • NEOTRAIL PRO FX.ONE SUPERLITE by Leki — The best poles ever - SOOOO light weight, really easy to stow, love this grip and wrist strap, used the old version for 4 years, finally snapped one (they're very durable and I was never careful so 4 years with these was great) bought the new ones and love them even more! If you're looking at poles don't try and save $20 and get the black diamond ones, these are a world of better!
    • S/LAB ULTRA 12 by Salomon — I've used this vest (many versions of it) for 15 years, over the years i've tried to switch brands to save money and i ALWAYS end up coming back to this one. Holds everything I need with minimal bounce, great pockets, easy to grab things out of the back, great material that does chafe you. I can't say enough about this pack. Proof is in the pudding, you won't be disappointed.
    • Density by Julbo — BEST LENS EVER. Super light weight and INSANELY durable. I honestly can't believe all these have survived, unscratched! Worth every dollar!
    • Running socks - Run Anatomic Light Crew by Sidas — I've tried just about every sock out there and nothing ever kept my feet dry, my feet un-blistered the way Sidas Anatomic Run socks do. They have a rubber band built in the compression so the socks don't move around and the result is very very happy feet. Also, these puppies are lightweight but way more durable than you'd think.
    • The BetterGuard Lite by Betterguards — If you're a chronic ankle roller - you NEED this. Someone tried to reinvent the wheel and they NAILED it. Once it's on you won't notice it's there unless you need it. It doesn't engange until you're about to roll and it has yet to let me re-injure my ankle.
    • S/LAB ULTRA GLIDE 2 LIMITED COURTNEY EDITION by Salomon — True to size, great cushion for longer days, lightweight, super stable, and that Salomon grip that we all want out there. Oh and all the Ultra Glide 2 Slabs are good but obviously extra love for the Courtney collab

  1. SOFT FLASK 500ml/17oz ULTRA 42 by Salomon — Ok, Im pretty sure anyone who's ever run for hours with a vest has experienced bruising from the hard plastic tops of the bottles on their chest - Salomon addressed this problem by making the back of the flask flat so that the bottle sits on your chest instead of trying to dig in. It's a small thing that makes a huge difference. I love these so much I buy them for my friends because they're so good.
  2. Bundle - Heated ski socks - Ski Heat LV + S-Pack 700B by Sidas — GAME changer for cold feet. These aren't cheap but they are worth every cent. You can easily adjust the heat, fast charge and long battery. Oh the battery is also so small you won't feel it at all. My boyfriend got these for me 2 years ago for Christmas and it has changed my life in the backcountry!
