Ok, Im pretty sure anyone who's ever run for hours with a vest has experienced bruising from the hard plastic tops of the bottles on their chest - Salomon addressed this problem by making the back of the flask flat so that the bottle sits on your chest instead of trying to dig in. It's a small thing that makes a huge difference. I love these so much I buy them for my friends because they're so good.
