The unfortunate reality is that I seem to chew through running shoes. The other unfortunate reality is that as a student, I cannot afford to invest in a shoe which isn't going to last. Heck this shoe impressed me, even more considering this is their first go at a trail shoe. I love the wider toe box, and did not get a single hot spot from these. I've worn these on pretty much every terrain type, and they handle it perfectly. They do run a little smaller, so in my next pair I will be sizing up by half a size.
