Ryan Harris, Mountain Guide and Ski Patroller
I use this probe becuase of the durability, in some probes I find that the inserts of each section get chipped on the edges, and slowly becomes a liability when deploying the probe. the measurement marks slowly fade away after use

Mammut's Speed Lock Probes have served me well since starting ski touring. I recommend a 300cm+ probe so that it is effective in all snowpacks.
