I use these super light poles at my day job as a botanist hiking steep terrain in the Sierra Nevada. These poles are a huge help descending into and out of some deep drainages where I’m looking for a rare orchid. I’ll also be using them this summer when I pace my friend at Hardrock. Looking forward to putting them to use for more mountainous running later on in the season, too.
