- Who it's for
- Trail runners who want vest-level storage in a standalone short without spending much. Suits those who prioritize a loose, flowy fit and chafe-free comfort on long efforts or races.
- What people are saying
- Hosts consistently praise the waistband storage (phone, flask, gels, keys all fit), the brief liner, and the price-to-quality ratio. No meaningful criticism appears across the notes, making this a one-sided but large and consistent endorsement.
- Worth noting
- Women's cut has a shorter inseam than the men's; taller women (note: one host at 5'11") opt for the men's cut for more length. One host cut the front-pocket attachment stitching to ease flask access with no reported issues.
James Sieber's review
Now I've found Terrignota shorts, I would be hard pushed to wear anything else - and this is the same feedback I've received from my athletes who have tried them. The built-in belt holds my iPhone, keys, 500ml flask + 300ml flask, dog collar, and 2 x 90g gels easily. Note, though, I have cut the attachment stitching on the front pocket so the flask can drop in more easily (so far, this hasn't had any negative consequences). The material is light and airy, and the black looks very smart with the white logo. I was a little concerned with the inseam length, but I have had no issues with chaffing. Especially for the cost, this is the best pair of running shorts I have owned by far.

Efficient, comfortable and reliable. Phone, gels/snacks, 500ml flask, car keys, headphone case. And above all else AFFORDABLE - I'm obsessed. Even if I am not using the storage, I will still use them under a belt.

The Terignota Sendero Shorts is a dream come true! The price, fit, comfort, and the built-in pockets around the waist band is perfect. The length is ideal, and the liner is comfortable. I can tuck a 10 oz. hard flask in the front, my phone, key, DJI osmo pocket, and a gel for daily runs. Thank the world for creating great shorts without breaking the bank!

Love love love these! Cute, super comfy and have a high leg slit. The full waistband pocket is perfect for carrying all my stuff without a vest, and they stay up!

Stays put, amply pocketed, comfortable, and chafe-free. What more can you ask for? I love the extra storage in these so I can divvy up my stash between vest and shorts for better weight distribution, and so I don't have to fish around for special things like my caffeinated gels when I'm braindead. Loose fit is a must during races for the ease of the side-short pee.

As a tall female (5ft11) I opt for the men’s shorts for a longer 5” inseam. I am a 27” waist, 38” hips and the men’s S fits well.

Amazing shorts, inner briefs, light and loose materials with an elasticated belt for small items. I have worn these for many hours and have no complaints...highly recommended. True to size.

This is the only trail running short I need, ever again. Storage for food, phone, credit card all around the hip belt. Fit great, security great, no bounce. It's hard to believe the price is so low with how good it is.

Everyone is wearing these shorts for good reason! So light and flowy with pockets for some gels or my keys. I have them in every color.

I like the womens shorts cut more so than the mens. Probably inseam length being shorter. I wear a size XL in womens and a medium in mens
