Insane price on a quality intermediate ski that can also be used by athletic beginners! I have demoed the Mindbender and I think that its shape is perfect - more rockered than a race-style "beginner ski" that catches edges easily, but traditional enough to carve well. K2 has always been a forward-looking brand, but I find the Mindbender to actually ski like a throwback, so there are no surprises on trail.
