    Who it's for
Trail and ultra runners who run in the dark and want better ground-level illumination than a headlamp alone provides. Particularly suits those prone to headlamp headaches or who run in foggy conditions.
    What people are saying
Hosts consistently rate it the best waist light they've used, praising its bright, low-angle beam for depth perception, minimal bounce, and easy battery management. Several note it works best paired with a headlamp rather than as a standalone replacement, though a few say it replaced their headlamp entirely.
    Worth noting
Uses 18650 rechargeable batteries; highest brightness lasts ~4 hours, so carrying spares is recommended. Reversing the battery switches it to a red light mode — a non-obvious but useful feature.

    Elliott Waldock's review

This is my favorite light and I have tried several. I primarily run it as a waist light. The 18650 batteries are easy to manage and keep charged and they last a long time. The fit is great, I don't struggle with bouncing and it's easy to tighten or loosen as I add or remove layers.

So bright it’s going to feel like daytime all night long. Also, the fog gets pretty thick and the waistlight is closer to the ground.

The waist lamp combined with a headlamp really changes the game. You can the rocks and the trail with so much more clarity. Get this waist lamp - you won't be disappointed I promise.

My friend put me onto this waist lamp and - I'll never use a headlamp again hahaha. I often get headaches after wearing a headlamp for a few hours and this solves the problem completely. The wide band in the front prevents your stomach from hurting. It stays in place well

I will consider this the best waist light option. 3 different brightness settings + the strobe. Put the battery in backwards and it acts as a red light. It is comfortable, adjustable (both the light direction and tightness of the band), extremely light. I recommend extra batteries. Highest brightness lasts about 4 hours. I always have extra batteries charged up. It is great to capture the contours of the ground in front of you while running in the dark. Fantastic for depth perception and detail of what is in front!

Game changer!! If you run Ultras or you run in the dark you need this light. On its own, set at level 2 it lights up the trail like the sun and will run all night on a single battery. Being positioned down low you won't get any glare or shine back in heavy fog. Put it together with a headlamp to shine where your eyes look and you're unstoppable!

I have the worst night vision, but I also love running through the night. I borrowed one of these lights when I ran my first 100 and it made all the difference. Wide and bright beam that hits closer to the ground making it so much easier to run through the night. Batteries are rechargeable and easy to replace while you're moving.
