Emi Stretton, What Gets Me Through the Miles

One thing I’ve learned from long runs: happy toes = happy runner. 😂 I’ve been wearing the Injinji Run Lightweight socks because the individual toe sleeves help reduce the rubbing and friction between my toes—which means fewer hot spots and blisters when the miles start piling up. For shorter runs, maybe I can get away with whatever. But when I’m out there for hours? I’ll take every advantage I can get. My toes have enough problems without adding unnecessary drama.

Over the years I've found that a merino toe sock can do more to prevent blisters than pre-taping my normal hot-spot zones. Keep it thin, and I really like the running version that seems to stay on my foot perfectly throughout the day.
