    Who it's for
Built for ultra-endurance athletes — multi-day races, 200+ mile events — who need a GPS watch that won't die mid-event. Also suits anyone who wants infrequent charging and broad activity tracking (SUP, snowboarding, fly fishing, trail running).
    What people are saying
Battery life dominates every note: hosts report lasting 290 miles on a single charge, charging once every other month, or going "all month" after a couple hours of charging. Navigation and map features draw consistent praise; no notable criticism appears across the 12 notes.
    Worth noting
Notes are one-sided positive with no reported durability failures or fit/sizing flags. Several hosts reference the older Vertix 2 rather than the 2S specifically, so some claims may not reflect 2S-exclusive improvements.

It takes a little while to run 250 miles, even when you intend to set a course record. The Coros Vertix has an insane battery life that easily lasts the entirety of the race. With stellar navigation and turn by turn alerts, the race would be completely different without my Coros.

I have the Coros Vertix 2, so the 2S is an upgrade. My Vertix 2 has been going strong since 2022. The battery life is insane. I charge it maybe once every other month or so.

Technically I have the older Vertix 2 model, but this thing is unreal. I once ran 290 miles with no charging in between and still had 34% battery left. The map mode rocks, and COROS keeps pushing updates that make the watch even better over time.
