No longer the warmest for the weight, this is still the way to go since in my testing it actually sleeps warmer than the competition, and is far more durable. Some people lie on their technical specs but I've yet to see that from Therm-a-Rest. 7.3 R value is good enough to be the solo pad in the sleep system, even on super cold outings.
