Ryan Harris, Mountain Guide and Ski Patroller

my favorite alpine harness, for ski mountaineering, glacier travel, and ice climbing. pack down well, light weight and very comfortable when bearing weight. I find that more true ski mountaineering harnesses hurt when bearing a rappelers weight

    Doug Dobkowski, Outdoor Educator, Guide

The features I am looking for in a Mountaineering harness are exreme light weight, extreme packability, and a harness that opens up fully (waist belt and leg loops). Being able to open up fully means you don't need to take crampons or skis off to put the harness on. It opens up and you can put it on like a diaper.
